3. Conference Venue

The AGM took place at one of the unique and monumental buildings at the Maritime Campus, the University of Greenwich in London.

Situated on the River Thames, Maritime Greenwich is a UNESCO world heritage site and famous for its historic landmarks such as the Old Naval College, a magnificent 17 century Renaissance complex and the first ever college in Europe to receive the Chinese students (1867); and the Royal Observatory, the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Meridian line, Longitude 0? Also East London will be the site for the 2012 summer Olympic Games and whole area is undergoing a fast development and regeneration.
