Welcome
to 7th UK Chinese Association of Resources and Environment,
Annual
General Meeting (7th UK CARE AGM).
The UK Chinese
Association of Resources and Environment (UK CARE), founded in 2000, is
a UK based academic organisation aiming to provide a high-quality
international technical and information forum between China and UK in
the areas of resources and environment, sustainable development, air and
water quality and renewable energy. It seeks to promote the
communication, collaboration and consensus building among the Chinese
and British research institutes and individuals for professional

As one of the
key parts of the organisation’s remit, the Annual General Meeting aims
to provide a platform where environmental professionals in the UK and
China can present and exchange their research findings and outputs.

The
conference program consists of 32 contributed
papers, presented as oral session (about 27) and poster session
(about 5).
More than 70
UK based Chinese scholars and researchers attended this conference.
And we are also delighted that Chongqing University Alumni
Association in UK was established in 7th CARE AGM as a special
programme. I hope this conference will become a golden opportunity to
exchange ideas and to renew our friendship and an incubator for future
progress of research and development of sustainability.
