The AGM will be held on Saturday 15 September, 11.00 am to 17.00 pm at one of the unique and monumental buildings at the Maritime Campus, the University of Greenwich in London. Situated on the River Thames, Maritime Greenwich is a UNESCO world heritage site and famous for its historic landmarks such as the Old Naval College, a magnificent 17 century Renaissance complex and the first ever college in Europe to receive the Chinese students (1867); and the Royal Observatory, the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Meridian line, Longitude 0º. Also East London will be the site for the 2012 summer Olympic Games and whole area is undergoing a fast development and regeneration.
Registration, Submission and Key Dates
If you are interested in oral and/or postal presentation, please first submit a 200-word abstract. The full paper will be no more than six A4 pages. It is noted that the submission of a full paper will be optional since some organisations may not want to publish detailed information. Normally each attendee should not submit more than one abstract as the first author. Submitting an abstract/paper is not an essential condition to attend the AGM. Full paper can be submitted after the meeting.
Registration and/or Submission of Abstract: Before Tuesday 31 July 2007
Notification of Acceptance: Wednesday 15 August 2007
Submission of Powerpoint presentation: Friday 7 September 2007
Submission of Full paper (optional): Monday 15 October 2007
Travel information will be posted on later announcement or please consult the organising committee for details. A guided tour will be arranged for interested delegates to visit the Painted Hall in the Old Naval College and the Royal Observatory in Greenwich after the meeting. There will be no charge for this service.
